Long Island Restaurant week begins on Sunday, November 3rd. Among a long list of nearly 250 participating restaurants, Kingfish Oyster Bar & Restaurant was named by Newsday as a top 10 spot to give a shot.
Kingfish Oyster Bar & Restaurant (Kingfish Oyster Bar & Restaurant, 990 Corporate Dr., Westbury): Chef Tom Schaudel’s sole Nassau County restaurant is a modernist showstopper of pearly hues, luxe leather booths and a centerpiece bar brimming with oysters. During Restaurant Week, those oysters will come fried with smashed avocado and passion fruit fire oil (an appetizer, $3 extra) and larger plates are rife with Asian-fusion detailing, such as almond-crusted swordfish with coconut squash puree and curry oil, or togarashi-spiced tuna with baby bok choy, forbidden rice, mango salsa and Thai-curry vinaigrette ($5 upcharge).
Make a reservation at Kingfish Oyster Bar & Restaurant for Fall Long Island Restaurant Week from November 3 – 10, 2019. Kingfish will offer a $29.95 three-course prix fixe all night every night they are open from Sunday to Sunday, except Saturday when it only has to be offered until 7 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
