Family Service league is delighted to announce that Michael Dubb, a founding partner of the Beechwood Organization, is this year’s honoree for Family Service League’s Golf & Tennis Classic, on Monday, August 4, at Old Westbury Golf & COuntry Club. The Event Chairs are Jack Bransfield of The Roslyn Saving Bank, and Charles Mancini, who will head up a committee of “Ace and Eagles.”

We are so pleased to pay tribute to this special man who, along with his partner Les Lerner, has devoted a large part of his career to building affordable housing and other construction related causes, such as building and donating a day care center. In a September 2000 Newsday article, Michael noted, “When I build a home fore someone who is fairly well-to-do, they seem to take the work for granted. When i build a house for a first-time home buyer, they say thank you with tears in their eyes.”
