November, 2005. Arverne by the Sea earns four (4) awards in “The 2006 Nationals” by the NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders). Both Regional Awards and Silver Awards were earned in the categories of “Best Brochure for a Masterplanned Community” and “Best Sales Pavilion”. Having won “Silver Award” recognition, both categories are finalists for the Gold Awards, which will be announced at the International Builders’ Show in January 2006, hosted by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders).
Celebrating its 25th year in 2006, The Nationals pays tribute to superior new-home sales and marketing achievements by homebuilders, associates and sales and marketing councils. Winners of The Nationals are showcased throughout national, regional, and local publications, as well as on the NAHB website.
Arverne by the Sea is a 127-acre, masterplanned community that will consist of 2300 homes set alongside the Atlantic Ocean. As part of the Urban Renewal Program in the Rockaways, the community will also include a 30,000 square foot YMCA community center, retail space, a refurbished subway station, a planned marina, and an abundance of neighborhood parks and natural preserves.
