Michael Dubb, The Beechwood Organization Principal and Founder named one of 50 on 2011 Power List.

Move over, William Levitt, Michael Dubb has become Long Island’s preeminent home builder. Dubb’s developed more than 6,000 homes in over 55 communities. He’s leaving his mark for generations to come. He’s turned his company, The Beechwood Organization, into the largest developer of residential housing on LI and one of the largest developers of residential two-family homes in the Empire State. He’s currently developing Meadowbrook Pointe, an “active adult” community on the former site of the Roosevelt Raceway, as well as a riverfront community in the Bronx. When it’s completed, Dubb’s smart-growth master-planned community in the Rockaways, Arverne By The Sea, will have some 2,200 homes and be the largest revitalization project in the Northeast. His development, Meadowbrook Pointe Westbury, was designated the 2010 Community of the Year by the Long Island Builders Institute. Long Island Business News dubbed him the 2011 Residential Builder of the Year Award. Will Dubb rest on his laurels? Not for a New York minute.
