Jericho-based Beechwood Organization has begun construction on a 94-home subdivision in Ridge.
The new single-family-home community, called Country Pointe Estates Ridge, will feature six different models of ranch and two-story homes ranging from 2,200 to 3,300 square feet. Each of the homes will have between three and five bedrooms and from two-and-a-half to four-and-a-half bathrooms with two-car garages and full basements, according to a company statement. Almost half of the 99-acre property just off Randall Road will remain a wooded preserve.
Pre-construction prices start in the mid-$400,000 range. The Ridge homes are designed with master suites, open floor plans, wood flooring, gourmet kitchens, designer wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and energy-efficient construction.
The first homeowners are expected to move in by summer 2016.
