Michael Dubb, Founder of The Beechwood Organization, Long Island’s largest residential real estate development company, and Chairman of the Belmont Child Care Association (“BCCA”), along with prominent thoroughbred racehorse owner, Sandy Goldfarb; leading jockeys Edgar Prado, John Velazquez and retired Hall-of-Famer Angel Cordero hosted the 3rd Annual Belmont Stakes Celebration bar-b-que at the Meadowbrook Pointe Clubhouse on Sunday, June 3rd. The celebration featured the unveiling of the Official Commemorative Program Cover Artwork of the 139th Running of the Belmont Stakes commissioned by the New York Racing Association (“NYRA”) from renowned 3-D pop artist, Charles Fazzino. Meadowbrook Pointe is a 720-home gated community in the heart of Nassau County. The jewel in the crown of the elegant lifestyle within the Meadowbrook Pointe is the 25,000 square foot clubhouse which features an exclusive salon and spa, outdoor and indoor pools, a state-of-the art fitness center, a private screening room, concierge services and an activities director. “Homeowners have chosen Meadowbrook Pointe to keep the places they know close…and the people they love even closer,” commented Michael Dubb.
The original painting for the 2007 Belmont Stakes will be donated by NYRA to the BCCA to be auctioned at the annual BCCA Benefit in Saratoga Springs. This year, the August 22nd Benefit honors Barbaro’s owners, Gretchen and Roy Jackson. Anna House, the first full time on-site child care center at a racetrack, was built and donated by Michael Dubb for the children of the backstretch workers at Belmont and Aqueduct Racetracks.
